Robocon Preparation

IEEE Cairo University Student Branch is preparing teams to join the most popular robotics competition which is Robocon, and we are looking forward to occupying the first places!
IEEE CUSB selected more than 30 students to prepare them to join Robocon. The preparation for the competition included a technical training on how to build a robot from A to Z and some interpersonal skills sessions like time management. To guarantee providing professional training and accurate execution of the plan by following the design and implementation of the robots, we cooperated with some PhDs, teaching assistants and some experienced students.
The most important support that is provided to the teams is the funding to allow them to buy all the electronics and mechanical components they need and also build the playground which is necessary for the development and testing phases.

Local IEEEXtreme Competition

IEEE Cairo University Student Branch organized a 6 hours programming competition for Cairo University students.
It was a simulation of the real IEEEXtreme competition to help students in getting better opportunities in the global competition and to motivate them to join it.
More than 20 teams from the faculty of Engineering and the faculty of Computer Science participated in the competition.
