FLL Competition

IEEE Cairo University Student Branch organized the FIRST LEGO League "FLL" Competition finals in cooperation with IEEE Egypt GOLD.
This year, the FLL challenge’s theme was Body Forward (Biomedical Engineering) where teams are challenged to improve our quality of life!
Through the 2010 Body Forward Challenge, 9 to 16 year olds (9 to14 in the U.S. and Canada) explored the cutting-edge world of biomedical engineering, discovered innovative ways to repair injuries, overcome genetic predispositions, and maximize the body’s potential, with the intended purpose of leading happier and healthier lives.
Our slogan was "Children Come First" that we were working on supporting and motivating them.

Clean Our Egypt

In order to prove the role of the women engineers, our "Women In Engineering" committee held the "Clean Our Egypt" event.
After the revolution of 25th January, IEEE Cairo University Student Branch girls felt their role and responsibility towards our beloved country Egypt.
They began to put their feminine touch in cleaning the streets, “ Paint and Brush “ were their cleaning tools, and they began to paint the pavement and writing some national slogans on the walls.
People in the street were looking at them wondering those enthusiastic girls and they began to participate with them.
At the end of the day, their numbers were highly increased and they felt gorgeous feelings that they had their role and cooperated together looking forward a better Egypt.
