As a student branch, IEEE CUSB depends mainly on volunteers to organize the events and activities held by the branch. Volunteers can come from any faculty or department whether within Cairo University or from other universities. As a volunteer you will gain experience in organization and you will enhance your soft skills greatly. Moreover, as a volunteer in one of the most reputable technical organizations in the world, you will be able to make relationships and contacts with people from different fields who can benefit you in your career in the future. This is in addition to the weight that such activity can give to your CV.

 

You can choose to volunteer in one or more of the following committees:

 External Public Relations Committee (EPR)

The EPR committee is responsible for any contacts outside the faculty. It is responsible for contacting companies and external entities for fund raising, sponsorship and guest speakers.

 

Internal Public Relations Committee (IPR)

The IPR committee is responsible for any contact inside the faculty. It is responsible for contacting professors regarding the IEEE CUSB activities and publicizing IEEE inside Cairo University.

 

Program Committee 

The Program Committee is responsible for designing different events and handling the logistic tasks of such events.

 

Publicity Committee 

The Publicity Committee is responsible for designing all publications of the IEEE CUSB, designing and editing of the Magazine and updating the different pages of the IEEE CUSB website

 

Academic Commitee (AC)

The AC Committee is responsible for designing local competitions, enhancing the awareness of people towards international competitions especially those held by the IEEE and supervising any technical related activity or event held by the IEEE CUSB

 

Multimedia Committee 

The Multimedia Committee is responsible for directing different movies produced or semi produced by the IEEE CUSB, such movies can be technical or non-technical.

 

Human Resources Committee (HR)

The HR Committee is responsible for recruiting members and volunteers through interviews, training and evaluation

 

Electronics Club

The Electronics club is responsible for developing a community of students who are intersted in the field of electronics and robotics.
